"Choices determine Karma

Karma determines life ahead

So think, reflect and act to make good choices"

We always blame karma for all the wrongs that happen in our life. Have you ever wondered why? So here is my analysis of this concept.

The Universal Law of karma is for every action that we do there is a reaction and this determines each athma’s journey and its destiny.

  1. A human being alone can create a karma

  2. A human athma by its actions fall to a lower level to dissolve their karmas such as

  • Atala loka which is a state of delusion

  • Vitala loka which is a state of ignorance

  • Sutala loka which is a state where people learn from their mistakes

  • Talatala loka a state of illusion and maya

  • Mahatala loka a state in which the cravings and temptations are more

or

3. get elevated to a higher level of

  • satya loka- state of Samadhi

  • tapa loka, - the realm of state of consciousness

  • jana loka - the realm of illumination

  • mahar loka - the realm of consciousness achieved by great rishis

  • or svar loka - realm devoid of emotions and attachments

The state in which the athma is present is interconvertible by the dissolution of karmas. The athma can be at any level, its actions to redeem itself or lose itself determine the state of the athma, hence we must recognize that all our actions have consequences.

The choice that we make on earth determines the future course of actions, hence the self needs to weigh the options available, reflect on them and then decide whether that action has to be performed.

So next time you blame karma think about it. The fruit of your action is karma. Karma has no identity by itself. You have given it the identity - good karma or bad karma. Karma is often misunderstood as fate, an unchangeable destiny but it is not, there is no cosmic force creating it, it is you who create it and during its dissolution sometimes you seek the help of God only to help you get through hard times.

So with the thought that God is with you and taking responsibility for your actions, you should face your karmas with inner strength and develop the courage to say NO to temptations and unwarranted desires and actions and move forward to face life in its stride.
